Trusting God
(Isaiah 26:4)
Trusting God. Many of you are waking up this morning and it is Saturday. Most are off this weekend and without the activities during the week of work, school, and the day to day errands we all do, there is more free time to think about our lives and problems. It is often during the weekend that our problems become magnified and we literally are face to face with those unpleasant things in our life. It is now, more than ever, that we MUST trust God. You see, you don't have the answer or it would not have become a problem of this magnitude. You don't really know what your next move is or you would make it. You have to some extent become paralyzed by the circumstances of your life and there are unresolved issues that are keeping you from moving forward.
It is in these times of life we all have to face, that our trust in God becomes critical. God never intended for you to go it alone. He never intended for you to carry life's burdens alone. He never intended for you to have to deal with your problems on your own. It is in these times you must make your faith real. You say you have faith in God, you say you trust Him. It is in those difficult times that your faith and trust in Him becomes real. Words are nice, but there are times that our faith and trust must become a reality. God will not fail you, he will not let you down. We go through much pain in this life because we simply do not really believe what we claim to believe. You say you trust God, then trust Him! You say you have faith, then exercise it! It is easy to trust and have faith in the good times. It becomes real faith and real trust in those difficult times.
I know many of you are hurting this morning and going through very difficult times. I am praying for you and believing God for your faith and trust in Him to become real in your life today. God loves you. He cares about you. He only wants the best for your life. He can and will help you if you let Him. My prayer today is that you will let Him step in and help you through whatever the circumstances and difficulties you are facing today. Never forget, GOD IS ABLE!
