Giving To Others

(Acts 11:29)

Giving to others. Most people do not totally understand the real reason behind giving. Above the obedience involved, above the fact that all we have is on loan from God, the real reason we give to our church and other ministries is to help others. There is no greater thing we can do on a day-to-day basis than help someone else through this journey called life. Sometimes it is giving of our time and talent to someone. Sometimes it is in giving financially. Whatever form it is, giving to others is not only God's will for our life, but it was the example our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gave us.
