Do Not Be Weary In Well Doing

In the Bible, the book of Galatians chapter 6 verse 9 tells us not to be "weary in well doing", that in "due season" we will reap if we "faint not". This verse is an incredible encouragement to those who are trying to serve the Lord, but maybe wondering if it is all in vain. So much of the time, the work we do for the Kingdom goes without notice, without fanfare...no television cameras, no media coverage. It is the day in, day out work of the Kingdom done by God's people, mostly one on one with other people. If you read the Gospel accounts of the life of Jesus, you will notice that is the way most of His ministry was conducted, one on one.

The game the enemy plays with us is to tell us that what we are doing is of no consequence, that we are just working in vain. Nobody really changes, nobody really hears, nobody really cares. My friend, that is a lie straight from the pits of hell itself. NOTHING you do for the Lord is in vain. I'll give you a perfect example. God showed me at the start of this internet ministry that He would let me see less than 1% of what we were doing in the lives of people, that over 99% of what was happening we would never know about. You see, this ministry, like other ministries and works of God, are but tools that God uses to effect His plan and purpose. We never know or see exactly what is taking place. But all God asked us to do is be obedient, not to understand, just be obedient.
