God Is Still On The Throne

God is still on the throne. Many people have been concerned about today. On our calendar, it is 9/9/99. While that may be interesting, some have been very worried that all those 9's could somehow trigger problems in the computers that seem to run our lives. Of course, everyone is waiting with some interest for December 31st to see what might or might not happen as we turn over into a new millennium. The Y2K potential for problems has been well documented. Let me tell you this. I don't know if there is any significance to 9/9/99 or even to the year 2000, what I do know is that God is still on the throne, and NOTHING is ever going to happen that He doesn't permit to happen.

More important, many of you are dealing with major issues in your life today. The same truth applies to you. God is ON THE THRONE and He is in control! I know that you might not be able to see that this very minute, but I assure you, not because I say it, but because He says it in His Word, that God is in control. In those difficult times, we must learn how to trust Him and cast our cares upon Him. It is so easy to get carried away with the stress and strain of everyday life to the point where things may even look hopeless. My friend, don't lose hope. Know that the one who you have put your faith and trust in, is able to do "exceedingly, abundantly more than you can ask or think". Go thru this day with the knowledge that the creator of the universe is on His throne and in control of every situation you are facing today.

Let this fresh word be an encouragement to you today. Continue to pray as Liveprayer.com comes under attacks from all sides, but goes forward knowing that God is on the throne and in control. Because of that fact, we have the victory!!!!!!
