(Matthew Chapter 23)Dr. James Dobson claims the culture war has been lost! In a message to his
staff at Focus on the Family that was never meant to be heard by the outside
world, Dr. James Dobson, in his own words, stated that the culture war had
been lost. After the tape of his talk was leaked to the public, he began
damage control, going on Sean Hannity's program (he went on no other
programs despite numerous offers by other programs to have him on) since
Hannity would never challenge him, claiming the "media took him out of
context." The fact is, the media is not to blame for his words, he is.
While I totally disagree that the culture war has been lost, I do agree with
Dr. Dobson that we are losing...primarily because of poor leadership from
men like him!!!
I remember doing a Devotional back in 2004 on Rev. Sun Myung Moon, the
90-year-old founder of the Unification Cult. In the research for that
Devotional, I found out that in the 80s a host of major Christian leaders
including Dobson took hundreds of thousands of dollars, in some cases,
millions, from Moon disguised as donations from his various pro-family and
conservative groups he founded to gain mainstream credibility. All respect
I had for Dr. Dobson was immediately lost as it became apparent that the
"business" of Focus on the Family took precedence over the ministry of Focus
on the Family.
The next evidence of this came when I was standing alone in the secular
media 2 years ago, trying to expose the FACT that Mitt Romney was not a
Christian as he claimed, but the member of a satanic cult. I was mystified
why supposed Christian leaders like Dobson never came to my rescue. How
naive. Why would he when he was in bed with the Mormons? Dobson should
have dealt with Romney's candidacy in the only way a true leader could, and
that was to clearly state he would never vote for or have anything to do
with someone who is the member of a satanic cult but would pray for him to
turn from the lies of Mormonism and to faith in the Jesus of the Bible!
However, that is not what Dr. Dobson did. He danced around the Romney
question, refusing to take a stand against his candidacy. He even kept the
door open to support Romney should he have won the Republican nomination.
Recently he interviewed Mormon Glenn Beck and prromoted Beck's book to his
audience, NEVER ONCE TELLING PEOPLE BECK WAS PART OF THE SATANIC MORMON
CULT!!! What would make a man of God do this? MONEY! One of the things
that makes the Mormon cult so attractive is their dedication to family. They
are no doubt big consumers of the family-friendly resources Focus on the
Family sells.
Did you know that Focus on the Family has formed a political alliance with
the Mormon cult? The alliance is called the World Congress of Families
(WCOF). It is a United Nations lobbying group STARTED AND FUNDED by the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS), better known as the
Mormon CULT!!! FOF has actually been holding planning committee meetings on
their Colorado Springs campus with officials from the WCOF, BYU and other
Mormon organizations! This alliance flies in the face of clear Scriptural
mandates to not form alliances with the enemies of God. Dobson refused to
speak out on Romney being part of a satanic cult because his ministry is in
bed with and makes money off of that satanic cult!!!
Recently, my good friend and a true warrior for Christ Steve Deace who hosts
a radio program on the secular Newstalk WHO in Des Moines, Iowa, interviewed
Dr. Dobson's right hand man Tom Minnery. It was a powerful interview as
Deace got Minnery to share that Dobson admitted the culture war was lost and
exposed the hypocrisy of Dobson and Focus on numerous other topics,
revealing that Dobson is about money and power first, and the cause of

For those who want to rip into me for simply stating the truth about Dobson,
I would refer you to Matthew 23 and the words of Jesus who took to task the
religious leaders of His day in a very hardcore fashion. What invoked such
anger and vitriol from our Lord towards those religious leaders?
COMPROMISE! When I rip into Osteen, Warren, Jakes, Dobson, and others who
have exalted themselves to positions of leadership simply by virtue they
built large organizations, it is because of the COMPROMISE they have
persisted in to build and perpetuate these organizations that take in tens
of millions of dollars each year.
They have placed dollars ahead of the Gospel, political correctness ahead of
the Truth, and their agenda ahead of God's agenda. THIS is why we have been
losing the culture war. Leaders like Dobson have compromised for their own
interests, creating hundreds of little fiefdoms so we have never spoken with
one unified voice. Each voice had their own interests at heart over God's,
and thus we remain divided, never being taken seriously, and without the
strength to do much except raise tens of millions of dollars on issues we
never had a plan to see victory.
Think I am wrong? Why have men like Dobson who take in $80 to $100 million
annually, never go on SECULAR TV, SECULAR RADIO, to take their case to the
masses in the marketplace? Simple. It was not a good business model. The
lost masses don't send you donations, don't buy your books and resources,
don't come to your events. They certainly don't help you build glass
buildings and have staffs of 200-300 people. No, to do that you have to
simply preach to the choir in the Christian trough, insuring your message
never gets to the people who need it the most.
THIS IS WHY DR. DOBSON IS CORRECT, AND THE CULTURE WAR HAS NOT BEEN WON.
CHRISTIAN LEADERS LIKE HIMSELF NEVER HAD VICTORY AS THEIR GOAL, ONLY
BUILDING THEIR OWN KINGDOM INSTEAD OF GOD'S KINGDOM!!!
I love you and care about you so much. People can rip me for telling the
truth, that is fine, I am used to taking the heat. I know those who have
been seduced by Dobson and Focus for years will unsubscribe and stop
donating to Liveprayer. That is OK. I am not here to please man but God.
Men don't supply the needs of this ministry, God does. They literally
killed Jesus for telling the Truth. I will state without hesitation that
men like Dobson have squandered the supports of millions of people and
hundreds of millions of dollars to build their legacy, and not God's. You
don't need hundreds of millions to turn this nation back to God. Ten to
twelve million a year would do the job very effectively if you are not
building buildings, but truly trying to lead this nation back to God and to
His Truth.
LET ME SAY THIS AS CLEAR AS I CAN. THE CULTURE WAR IS NOT LOST AND IT CAN
BE WON!! ! can only encourage you today. God has raised up Liveprayer for
